Our Program Controller/Accounting Manager position is responsible for overseeing the entire accounting operations for the Consortium and Joint Venture based in Korea.

Each day, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, maintaining client relations, reporting appropriate financial statement and project accounting information the management and partners.

Prepare program financial reports.

Complete Consortium and Joint Venture Monthly financial reporting.
Oversee client bill and review recognition and client coordination of billing.

Oversee and participate in preparation of annual financial statements.

Prepare tax returns.

Ensure accounting system and all related modules are compliant with US DCAA, SOX and Republic of Korea (ROK) requirements.

Act as the key contact for financial audits. This includes outside auditors, Ministry of Defense’ Cost Verification Team and DCAA auditors.

Ensure compliance with U.S. and Korean Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Maintain responsibility for cash monitoring and forecasting.
Ensure the financial integrity of the project reporting system.
Ensure compliance of the Accounting and Billing Systems with both U.S. Federal and Korea business requirements.
A minimum of 15 years experience, with at least 10 of those years in a hands on technical accounting experience and at least 5 of the years in a supervisory capacity.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Possess a CPA, Masters degree or similar credential.
Ability to demonstrate understanding of the month end close process, as well as reporting requirements for appropriate financial statement and project accounting information; including understanding of proportionate consolidations and foreign currency rules.
Ability to demonstrate understanding of integrated financial database systems such as Oracle, SAP or Deltek.
Ability to demonstrate experience dealing with a diverse group of clients, partners and staff; as well as experience operating in a multicultural environment.
Ability to interpret financial impacts of business decisions.
Ability to articulate understanding of percentage of completion accounting.
