Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- The Supervising Discipline Engineer is responsible for managing the discipline engineering to meet client and project requirements regarding scope, scheduling and budgets.
- Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four year accredited college or university.
- 8+ years of professional experience. Professional Engineering License required.
- Experienced in the engineering and design of nuclear generating station electrical systems.
- Experienced in the preparation of nuclear generating station plant change modification packages.
- Experienced in preparation of power plant electrical auxiliary system design calculations.
- U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining unescorted access badge for nuclear power plant.
- Field / Construction experience is desirable.
- Experience with Architect-Engineering Firm.
- Past experience at FERMI Power Station is desirable.
- Experienced in project execution utilizing CAE technology desired.
- Experienced in design of all aspects of electrical auxiliary systems for power plants and/or heavy industrial facilities.
- Technically qualified in all aspects of electrical power system design (system design/analyses/relaying/familiarity with power distribution equipment).
- Good communications skills.
- Interface with other disciplines and clients.
