Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Design of Process and Equipment Systems with Confinement (gloveboxes): Examples in melting, matching, annealing, rolling hydro forming, packaging, chemical processing, dying reduction steps.
- Design of Process and Equipment Systems without Confinement: Example operations in casting, inspection, assembly, billet storage, assay, leak testing, product certification, chemical processing, acid leach, concentration, extraction and chemical recovery.
- Faculty Design Multi-discipline design of project site, structures, building and process utilities, security and installation of all equipment.
- 4+years of experience designing gloveboxs.
- Professional Engineers license.
- Metal processing furnace experience.
- Remote material handling.
- Robotic manipulation of materials.
- Machine and mechanism design.
