Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Perform safety, quality and environmental audits of the company’s sites.
- Provide guidance to staff on safety, quality and environmental issues; where necessary researches information to respond to staff queries.
- Develop, review and amend management procedures.
- Follow strict deadlines for due dates.
- Multi-task and prioritize work.
- Assertive with the ability to recognize issues requiring action
- Takes initiative and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Complete the safety, quality and environmental sections of tender questionnaires.
- Respond to client enquiries on safety, quality and environmental issues.
- Perform accident and incident investigation; be capable of performing root cause analysis.
- 1-3 years experience in engineering/construction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with the Clients, Employees, and Executive Management.
- Up to 50% travel, hold a valid United States passport, available for international travel as needed.
- Needs expertise and the necessary skills to interface with the Client and will be instrumental in delivering on time cost effective projects.
- Minimum 5 years of Management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction related areas such as Civil, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA, EPA regulations, and federal safety and environmental guidelines; capable of applying state regulations where necessary.
