Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE (OR EQUIVALENT EDUCATION) IN AN APPROPRIATE ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE OR THE SCIENCES FROM A FOUR YEAR ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY.

• 10+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN A DISCIPLINE OR SPECIALTY.

• PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING LICENSE PREFERRED.

• I &C engineer with experience in the specification and design of control systems for power plants or similar complex industrial facilities.

• Candidate does not need to have the ability to program the actual control system, but needs to be able to create PFDs, P&IDs, system functional descriptions, I/O lists, instrument lists, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument specifications, and control system specifications.

• Experience in hydroelectric power plant design, Access database familiarity, and AutoCAD proficiency is preferred.

• Ability to perform basic electrical design preferred.
