Managing Director Naval Facilities Contracts Administration:

If successful you would be responsible for leading multiple contracting efforts with values exceeding $250Million US

We are looking for that person who has superior skills in:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
NEGOTIATIONS
DEFENSE CONTRACTING
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTRACTING
ACCOUNTING / FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT  ESTIMATING / PROCUREMENT
GOVERNMENT PROPERTY CONTROL
PROJECT CONTROLS


The career path that we are ideally looking for is one where a person has 15-20 years of Naval Facilities Engineering Command experience either as part of the Navy or as a Navy subcontractor.  With duties that have included experience in government: contracting, procurement, administration, management,  awarding and administering Navy cost reimbursement and indefinite quantity contracts.

The person will have had previous experience overseeing all administrative functions including prime contract administration, proposal preparation, procurement, project controls, accounting, cost engineering, and government property control and of course compliance with federal, DOD and Navy contract compliance regulations .

General Attributes:
The right person needs to have above average: relationship building, writing and verbal communication skills.  In this key role the successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing heavily with: clients, project staff, executive management and subcontractors.


Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

  • BS BA  and ongoing professional development Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum fifteen years experience with Navy Contracts Administration
  • Demonstrated project leadership experience, including scheduling and controls and ability to administrate several contracts simultaneously with total dollar values in excess of
    250M$
  • Advanced level negotiation skills
  • Self-control under pressure and in crisis situations
  • Excellent interpersonal empowerment and communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with customers, partners and vendors.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead contracts teams and work effectively at multiple levels within the organization from CEO to lower level personnel.
  • Good business acumen and knowledge of financial controls
