Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates will have BS Engineering.

• Math or Science and for junior position must have 5 years nuclear safety experience.

• At least 2 years experience in developing USQ screenings and evaluations at U.S. DOE Sites.

• Require current, detailed and in-depth experience with implementation of 10 CFR 830 and guidance DOE G421.1-1.  

• Position will support Nuclear & Criticality Safety organization in the development of unreviewed safety question screenings and evaluations for various facilities on site.

• Will complete site level training and facility.

• Project-specific qualifications to be able to fully perform USQ screenings and evaluations for assigned facilities.

• Will provide technical assistance in developing USQ's and related technical support documents.

• Will be responsible for project schedules, deadlines, budgets and safe performance of work.
