Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Complete electrical designs for all types of DCI/DLTD projects insuring compliance with all codes and standards.

• Supervise, review and approve electrical design(s) completed by Design Engineering Contractors and Consultants.

• Develop electrical specifications and work scopes for DCI/DLTD projects.

• Monitor performance of electrical engineering and construction Contractors to insure conformance with applicable provisions of construction Contract Agreements.

• Establish policies, procedures, and methods, which insure safe electrical construction and erection work on all projects and monitor compliance.

• Prepare cost/budget estimates for electrical design and construction on DCI/DLTD projects.

• Assist with field management of independent Electrical Contractors on DCI/DLTD projects in accordance with all DCI/DLTD policies and procedures.

• Strong basic/fundamental engineering skills/aptitudes.

• Broad based understanding of electrical engineering design and installation.

• Experience in AC/DC motor control and drive design.
  

• Experience in electrical power and control wiring, power distribution, transformations, PLC/HMI programming and control, etc. (preferable Allen Bradley).
  

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  

• Strong organizational, coordination skills and abilities. Strong direct supervisory/management skills and abilities.
