Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Senior Designer for structural engineering department performing design of reinforced concrete foundations and structural steel for fossil-fuel power plants, stand-by/emergency generation facilities, central heating/chilled water plants, campus-type utility distribution systems, and industrial projects.

• Responsibilities include preparing structural drawings from verbal and written instructions, marked prints, sketches, computations, and other sources prepared by others.

• Responsibilities also include accumulating and assembling information as directed by engineers preparing layouts, assisting in obtaining field and shop measurements, and preparing preliminary sketches.

• Proficiency in the use of AutoCad 2004 or above, Microstation V8 or above, Microsoft Office and 3-D computer modeling/rendering experience will be considered a plus for the successful candidate.
