Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineer with strong background in electrical power generation and plant facilities design for utility, institutional and industrial clients.

• Will be expected to perform design duties with minimal supervision.

• Specific duties will include design and layout of medium and low voltage switchgear and motor control centers, computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems, equipment specification and procurement, protective relaying design, and design of schematic and wiring diagrams.

• Candidate will be expected to lead and mentor less experienced engineers and designers through the design process.

• Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Access and Office.

• Candidate should have experience meeting with clients and supporting marketing proposals/efforts.

• Candidate should have experience managing a design budget and schedule, and be able to demonstrate proficiency in these areas.

• Field assignments during construction and/or start up activities a plus, but not required.

• Project Management experience and LEED certification a plus, but also not required.

• Background requirements include a BSEE, PE, and 10 + years of relevant experience.
